darthdyas doesn't suck

Default Is this possible?

In single player mode, the computer controlled factions have specific names attached to their teames. Orange Zerg is for instance always called Garm Brood. I've heard people talking about changing these names in a campaign and replace them with names of their own choice? Is that hard to do (or even possible)? with Scmdraft 2?

I think we had a similar question some time ago... anyways, it is definately impossible with SCMD2 or any other map editor. There is no known entry in a map file for faction names.

It MIGHT be possible through modding, though.

Very easy to do with modding,
all you need is mpqdraft, winmpq, mpq compactor script, a starcraft tbl editor, and knowledge of where the tbl file is in the sc directory.
