Now I know Pizza set up this new law for CC and GD

But I'm having trouble sorting it all out. From his announcement post, GD is used for stuff that influences your life, like bailouts or midterms of the recall of some kind of food, while CC is kind of used for a daily chat on a specific topic. If that's at all incorrect, tell me now.

What confuzzles me is the difference between the two. Just to point out a specific example (and I'm not saying you were right or wrong), Pizza, I think it was him, moved my Barack in a box thread to GD, but I put it in CC because I thought it had no real influence on your life...

Does somebody want to clear this up for me a bit?

Yeah, you have it right, just backwards. CC is for your life and GD is for general topics.

I like to think of it like this:

SD = philosophies, ideas
GD = news, events
CC = random shit
