What's up guys...I don't know which if you remember the doom dragoon days when this place was nuts with activity, although we still never got anything done....but I just though i'd drop in and say hey from an old scums member. I was a trigger guy mostly because i could never finish a map, just parts of it.....

Hey, my wish was granted! Awesome. We don't really have a list of the old members, but I'll list what a can remember.

Doom Dragoon, Aya, BSTRhino, PlagueLord, Oaf, Poo_On_You, TheNrz, ShadowFlare, Neo, UED77, Nozumo, Draken_Zeil, GSG-79 (or something like that. I do remember that he had this CS avatar though), Dark_Soul74, Geno, Hikari(insert numbers here), Mp)3, Tuxedo-Templar (?), Ultimater2, and alot more people who I can't recall the name right now. But the list is alot longer.

Nrz, do you remember any of the old maps, and do you have any of them? I'm not sure what the heck we would need them for, but it could be for archival and historical purposes.

Is there a (?) next to Tux's name because you're not sure if he was in at the time? He was in it. I came around right when all of it fell apart, (I was too caught up in Team SE and StarEdit.net at the time) so I'm kinda like straddling the new and old.

haha, sorry, I don't have any of the maps...I don't even know where my sc or bw disks are. I'd sure like to map again because it was so much fun back in the day. I'd really like to see you guys carry this into something more because the community needs it. There are so many of the same old map, and it seems that these new complex ones are just no fun to play. BlizzSCUMS needs to rejuvinate the customs community because lord knows no one else is going to do it!


EDIT - Shouldn't the SCUMS in the subforums name have a capital S at the end? It stands for StarCraft Use Map Settings right? If i'm way off, I deserve a good flaming bout, but hey....

And another thing....are you guys still looking for help? I gotta find my disks, or buy new ones (unlikely....read my thread in gd....) but I'd love to kinda get back into this becasue i'm going to have lots of time.....

Haha, when I saw it, I had to stop and look at it again because it didn't look right. I remember the BSTRhino incident. I don't know which of you guys were here at the time, but was that a mess or what. It was that then no to much after the whole SCL/ORG split with AJ and all them. Speaking of which, AJ is around again. Next thing we know BST will be back......

It was back in November or December 04. I wasn't much of a poster back then, but I was following on BlizzSCUMS politics, because I was thinking of joining back then. But I didn't really join until...later.

And yea, I've noticed that even the maps on B.net have been stagnating recently. All I see are strip maps, diplos, and the occassional other stuff. Possibly one of the reasons for this is because there hasn't been any new trends this time around, and thus B.net UMS has not been recycling old maps lately. And a lack of new maps.

But anyways, we should really get back to work. We don't want an ex-BlizzSCUMS member re-joining just to find us doing absolutely nothing again, now do we?
