Yeah, it's a f'ing harry potter spell. They might as well have called it the Dumbledore Siege Tank

when i keep reading the stuff about the siege tank does this mean it has a turret on the tank to keep longer on the battlefield? not the giant gun but a smaller one that maybe fires a auto cannon?
Starcraft2 is finally here...i pretty much wasted 10 years waiting for this game! let see during those 10 years i played 4 years of SC:BW, another 4 years of school and 2 years of ever wondering if they have even considered SC2
I don't think so. They'd have told us outright. I think it just means that it fires faster in tank mode. The whole description is kind of jumbled up, so who knows.
what im more surprised is the name
"Crucio"
sounds almost like critical

Yeah, about the stats: I believe the ST new HP is 200, but I could be mistaken. Additionally, I don't think the new ST is overpowered. I mean, the damage is buffed, but it takes around 4 seconds between shots. I'm betting Firebats could be devestating to the STs. And the transformation effect is gorgeous. I may get distracted by its beauty mid-game! Yet the name Crucio is no upgrade from Arclite. And I just see Mad-eye Moody when I think of that...
Oh, and the Medic healing sounds? ANNOYING!!!!!!!
Obama has won. The seas of change are flooding the streets- a deluge of possibility, a monsoon of opportunity, a literal tsunami of inspiration. We're talking hope. And the only thing left to do is to put on some swimming trunks, maybe a pair of goggles, and just riiiide the wave...
And a major pox on that bastard Jeph Loeb. Everything you touch dies.

cruuuuciooooo . . .!
Excelent. Sticks to its real role and redesign is great.
10 up Blizzard
BTW Crucio might stand for CRUSADER.
Barack Obama is a psycho, a war mongering madman, thats why i voted against him in september!
I was about to point that out! It sounds like blowing on empty bottles. And the rate of healing seems a bit slower than in BW at least the animation makes it look so. And did you notice the way the medics heal? i mean they constntly move their hand back and forth kinda like the SCV which looks like he was poking or fingering the minerals. Ok nough bitchin. The siege tank looks pretty sweet otherwise. It's kind of worrying it is more powerful now even if it costs more. Still later on in the game you have so much cash thtat you can build shitloads of them anyway. It might be a bit too overpowered.

tbh, it's not really. Posting stats like this may lead someone to believe those are finalised. When it comes to models or the like, that isn't such an issue (ala the StarCraft 2 site itself) but with stats ... meeeh, it's a dodgy situation at best. You could always just ask Karune what the latest stats are of course![]()
There appears to be a smurf in your forum.
Alternate Names:
Grepyr class Siege Tank with 120mm Grepyr Shock Cannon
Fenrir class Siege Tank with 120mm Fenrir Shock Cannon
Hersir class Siege Tank with 120mm Hersir Shock Cannon
Draupnir class Siege Tank with 120mm Draupnir Shock Cannon
Any one of these would be better imo.
Elaborate please.
So they're just more heavily armored, I guess.Quote
Then there's
Which could mean a lot of things.Quote
I'm not too sure about that. These tanks have a long cooldown.
With a gang of Reapers and a number of d-8 charges, you could easily break through a few Vikings and Crucios.
At least I hope so.
That's because Marines don't move fast enough.
But since the cooldown rate seems to have been increased, it's a better possibility.
I’ve always wanted
To eat glass with you again
Also, the attack bonus is 50+50 to armored, so economically you're probably doing better to use light infantry to pick off lone tanks. Now, bunkers, firebats, vikings and the like all complicate the situation, but at that point, you should have a mixed army of your own, and you probably shouldn't be trying to take such a well defended position on foot. I can't wait to see someone drop auto turrets on big groups of siege tanks, though.
