spinesheath doesn't suck

Well, I learned both trigger maths and binary countoffs the hard way, too, and only later it was that I realized that what I was doing was that weird "binary countoff" some people spoke about.
Hyper Triggers is something that you are pretty unlikely to come across just by self-teching. Once you know them, their basic usage is simple, though.

Still not decided on a task Gotta get some time when I can actually think about it - I'm busy ^^

Ok, so I won't think of something fancy. Here is my FastCalc map. I features instant addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers from 0 to 999 (no decimal fractions). Division also rounds correctly. It's a map I whipped up quickly, but the triggers are elaborate. As of now, I am using the best known methods for these trigger maths.
This map should mainly help you getting familiar with trigger maths and binary countoffs, since I am positive that you will learn the basics quickly.

You task:
First of all, spot the problem I created with the beacons (best spotted ingame) due to creating the map so quickly, and fix it
Secondly: Find out how the input is done, and where the input is stored. This involves binary countoffs. A binary countoff basically is subtracting [...] 16, 8, 4, 2, 1 instead of subtracting 1, 1, 1, [...].

Then you will quickly understand addition and subtraction. But there is a flaw with subtraction: this calculator will display 0 as the result whenever the result would actually be negative. If you can tweak the map so that it can display negative results, you are done.

You don't necessarily have to understand multiplication or division, but feel free to try. It's not that complicated, though somehow there are not many people who have understood my division algorithm yet (I'm pretty sure there are less than 10 people who understand it Oo It's not like many have tried, though; most click away when they hear "maths").

If you think that this stuff wouldn't be useful: Yes it is. Usually not in the LurkerAssault kind of map, but in RPGs and the likes. On SEN, they were working on FRAGS, a selection system that is able to detect where you right-clicked on the map via triggers, and it requires several arithmetical operations. That's why Zeratul_101 tried to master my division method. Dunno if he did yet^^

Uh, yeah, feel free to ask whenever you really need help. If SEN wasn't down, you would be able to look up some stuff in their tutorials section, but unfortunately SEN is pretty much dead for quite some time... As long as I don't have to tell you how exactly you have to do all the required triggers it's fine
