Re: Chinese Goverment rules that StarCraft: Ghost promotes "Feudal Superstition"

What worrying is the degree to which it is institutionalized in China. There's a big difference between nut-cases claiming Harry Potter is "satanic" and a government actually banning something...

Re: High pressure orange juice attack

True, though I think it'll be far from the title of world's worst alcohol... Can you imagine what fermented durian juice will smell like for example? (now that's one thing I definitely don't want...

Re: Chinese Goverment rules that StarCraft: Ghost promotes "Feudal Superstition"

There is nothing different than anyone's understanding here. It's a worrying case of bureaucracy at best and a manifestation of a totalitarian mindset at worst. Self aggrandizing is natural even for...

Re: High pressure orange juice attack

That goes without saying... Of course the above "statistic" is most certainly an urban legend. That said, the original post shows that containers with liquids are "not to be trifled with". :D

Re: High pressure orange juice attack

I remember hearing that allegedly according to statistics more people are harmed by shooting champagne bottles than in road accidents. "Allegedly" of course being the key-word.

Re: Chinese Goverment rules that StarCraft: Ghost promotes "Feudal Superstition"

The sheer stupidity, thick headedness and brainlessness of censors is infuriating. Even in insignificant cases like these. I'd dearly like to have an opportunity to land a few well placed punches in...

Re: Battlecruiser and Medic portrait

Ghosts should be lethal, mysterious and unnerving. Not only they are psychics, but also top conditioned assassins. The above portrait doesn't convey that.

Remember seeing these before somewhere... The Battlecruiser portrait is obviously the best. And yeah, that Ghost looks too sexy to be plausible (tho' it is a cool drawing).

Re: tyraels wings on d3 site

The one engulfed in flames is (don't remember his name) the Archangel of War who wants Sanctuary destroyed. It's most likely that he's the one punishing Tyrael by stripping him of his wings.
