Re: Protoss Ground

Just a point about the stalkers vs dragoons.
Stalkers ARE less effective vs air, simply because they do not have the singularity charge upgrade (range upgrade). Also, I've seen so many differing...

Re: About the Inmortals and the Stalkers

J1M and countchocula, I found some info which runs counter to what you've said.
Dragoons have 100hp, 80shields and a base armor of 1
Stalkers have 100hp, 40 shields and a base armor of 0, as well...

Re: About the Inmortals and the Stalkers

Is it? My bad then. I keep having the impression that they are weaker due to the various posts I read including those from Blizzard reps. Do they have the same range as goons with the singularity...

Re: About the Inmortals and the Stalkers

Unfortunately, if stalkers remain as they say, rather useless, for late game, that leaves only the Archon as decent ground based anti-air which I feel is a bit wrong. I don't see how stalkers can...

Re: Im more convinced, Vikings need flamethrowers.

Are the jets of the Viking on its legs or its arse in mech form?
I just had this hilarious vision of the viking turning around, bending over and delivering its deadly fart.

Re: mothership is frikken usless now

I don't like how the protoss MUST use the phoenix for anti-air defence (warp rays and carriers can hit air too, but that's not their main role).
Immortal and Mother ship can't hit air.
Stalkers are...

Re: New Battlecruiser attack animation.

I think it's better. I've always had a beef with how a gigantic cruiser fires 1 puny laser every few seconds.

Re: When did you take to the Colossus?

I think it's great. But did they shorten it? I kind of remembered it being taller in the gameplay video as compared to sc2 website.

One thing that has always bugged me a bit is that the colossus...

Thought I'd just continue on this post...

Is it just me? I prefer the old colossus's look with the long spindly legs. Looked like a proper war machine. The new one reminds me of a big head with...

Re: New screen Shot shows Ranking on tank?

I sincerely hope that ranking doesn't come in except maybe for decorative purposes.

As for zerg getting shafted by ranking, it really depends on how it's handled. In essence, each individual zerg...

Actually, it's a workable idea. People are just too spooked by WC3.
The improvements for kills need not be THAT great. After, they already have a counter of kills per unit, why not use it?
