This build is pure pvm, and will not work well with duelling.
(I'm burning time, since I can't go to work early today)

No crushing blow, since this is elementally based. Getting an infinity for the merc would of course drastically improve the damage. And since this is a kicker, with a little bit of gear change, you could probably uber-trist with it. Although, I've probably got the best damned ubertrist char for you. Soon to come.

So, you'll have fire, light, cold, physical, and poison dmg available.

to note, ill be attempting this build with my east ladder asn, MetalAcolypse. Well see how she fairs.

Though the gear youve listed is far, FAR beyond any sort of price range ive EVER come in contact with.

Never understood why CB was based on physical damage, because it's not ;).


Any fast attacking melee player benefits from CB.

I might retool my sorc zealer to hit 60% CB so I can go out boss killing without even trying.

its a physical effect, thus its physically based. you can still use it and it works even if you do only 2 dmg but still.

Well yeah, if you hit a monster in hell your doing 1/8th their life per hit, take out physical reductions and your only doing 1/16th, then factor in bosses and your only doing 1/64th.

Even that 1/64th is more than most melee players can do in 20 swings.

I believe a level 26 Claw Block is "optimum" - therefore you could allocate two points into Venom, since the higher levels have a spike in damage. To be honest, is duration on Blade Shield overly important (the damage is fairly minimal)? Allocate 6 points from it (a lose 30 damage) to max out Venon (with the 2 from Claw Block). You can also pre-buff Venom, again to get the spike effect.

I'd suggest putting the rest (except 1) from Blade Shield into Pheonix strike.
