I was just curious to see if this idea would get any attention, i have been an avid fan of the series since the date of it's release and even more so then the tactical, beautiful, unique game-play i have always thought the storyline and characters are the greatest that Blizzard has ever produced in my openion, the Role-play will take place a good 3 years after the events of broodwar's campaign which means most importantly that we need someone to play our very own queen of blades, reynor and other characters whom also survived and hold key to the storyline.
It will begin in the Rebirth of the Sons of korhal ( the terrorist group once led by mensk ) whom escaped the planet before it's bitter demise, the plot is about stolen field data from the confederacy about a new ghost program, a program that not only allows a unit to control the Xenomorphs known as the Zerg as an overmind does, but turn the tide of battle and create a threat to any whom oppose them in there new Domain, the twist ?
Being that this "Ghost" is being used to control small zerg outposts and that Kerrigen ( A former ghost ) has become so powerful in here telekenisis, Kerrigan will search to hunt down this new blood as the perfect infested apprentice, while i understand this idea may not sound perfect as kerrigan has enough power as it is, more shall be explained as the Role-play advances.
Rules: No 1-liners of course, no perverse players just as the site advises, no Autoing other players no matter what. Characters may play whatever they wish be it there own characters or characters from the series whom could have possibly survived, though at the moment we are in dire need of a player for Kerrigan so please if anyone is interested please let me know, either by posting or by private messaging me.

You've got my interest, but I tell you now: If this doesn't maintain a good prescence, I will not put a lot of time into it. I will gladly if this gets going.
Second, I will be Kerrigan if I absolutely must. Since this forum is basically crawling with Terran bitches, that seems quite likely. As of now, I will wait until everyone else picks their parts.
Yeah, this sounds fun. I'm game.

I'm in albeit a tad infrequently (college is bizy). I'll play either a Protoss hero or Kerrigan. It matters not to me. I'd also PM Zero and Drake and see if they have any interest. They may not but their knowledge of canon would be a great boon to have here.

. o O ( Alright then lord, if you can be kerrigan that will be perfect, though you are also welcome to play one of the protoss characters that still remain, or even your own characters as i do not limit people to a single character unless it is a useless one that does absalutely nothing to the story, it would be grand to have reynor cajun, though feel free not to be pressured, the first post is below...if you can, when talking OOC, make the use of bubbles, and please no post spamming, other then that i believe this is picking up fast...the post below plays sort of as an intro movie...Enjoy...you may reply to this with your own intro to show what character you are playing, it does not matter if you are 60,0000 light years away -Grins- as the person whom plays kerrigan/reynor will probably have to start on another planet anyway..)
" It was 'SAID' that WE are traitors to mankind, it was 'SAID' that we are a race lost, wiped from the universe...today i look at you and i say...we are not lost but reborn !!!! the founders of a new justice system, a new law system a new world where you and your family's can live in prosper free of the zerg and protoss !!! "
A framilar voice shouted out to the people in melodic speech that made many simply tingle inside, the man hooded and shaded as he stood as if preaching to his people with love, raising morale and giving hope to a new day and age, as if he truly meant his words...this time...throwing his hand to the screen above him that showed of marine core, and wraiths flying through the sky's above the planet mensk...had he gained such respect before his fall that his people would name a planet for him ? win it for him ? honor a man that very well turn the tides of the universe in the claws of the zerg ?...this did not sit well with many, and even if they wished it so they could do nothing, for even a debate about such would be intergalactic mutiny....
" Today i stand here and give you hope from the eyes of a child ! stand young nemphis STAND ! "
From out of the shadows an odd figure was placed on a floating wheel chair like device, male, young...the boy looked lucky if he was perhaps 16...snow white moppy hair, eyes a very light blue and skin very much like powder, at the moment it did not even apear that the child was alive as the two men in power armor pushed him past the shadowed figure so the crowd could stare in awe, his body wrapped in what would resemble a confederacy ghost uniform, a natural scowl of the childs face showed he was either upset or not with the room of people gazing at him at all...suddenly...a movement of his wrists and then a push from the wheel chair like device, standing in front of the crowd the boy's expression ceased to change in any way as he stood there gazing at the people whom looked at him as some sort of lab-rat....and that was exactly what he was...
" My proud people of mensk...today i show you one of our greatest youths, our greatest minds...our greatest weapons...open the roof general "
With that said a rough looking elderly man would push a button below the speaker, what would come into eye contact would make many shiver to the bone in a deep fear...for an overlord floated above the crowd as if in wait..it's massive presence enough to make even the bravest man tremble..for the wit of what this creature could summon would definitely make the people below more then uneasy...
" Nemphis ! now my child, show the people of mensk what you were born to do...show them your destiny !!! "
Eyebrows would lower into a frown like motion as the boy raised a single hand, many had already fled from the conference room, much to afraid of what the creature may do to them, finally silence fell again...as the boy then closed his fist a grunt would be heard from the massive beast above, throwing his arm to the air the beast would bust through the glass causing many to scatter and flee from the chaos, pulling his arm to his waist the beast began moving down into the crowd once more...finally the boy would speak a single word in an almost angelic tone...
" I'm sorry..."
With that said the beast then exploded into a thousand pieces, showering the crowd with blood and guts, it rained organs and the room that was once so full of life was nearly empty, the remainders only there out of pure fear...the man moved behind the boy and would softly pat his shoulder..
" Well done young nemphis, well done...general...have our team increase the dosage "

An eerie silence filled a dimly lit room somewhere in the Command station. Though the 20 or so onlookers sensed an impending doom, the man who would meet his demise sat calm. The charges? Crimes against the Dominion, betraying the cause, failure to serve the higher power. The man didn’t feel a fragment of remorse. The only pain he felt was the throbbing in his arm, which was pierced by an IV. The clock’s ticks were louder than gunshots by the time the clock struck 12. The young man had been plagued by suffering for years. Born an albino, the young man named Zachary Marx spent 26 years living a life of lies. Midnight came and Marx smiled.
“Last words, traitor?” A man asked him as he prepared the syringe.
“Why don’t you ask yourself that question, tyrant?” Marx replied in an eccentric tone.
The man’s eyebrow raised, right as a bullet pierced his shoulder. The syringe dropped and Marx smiled. One of the guards, a long-time friend and follower of Marx, broke the cuffs that bonded him to the chair. Two Dominion troops entered, unaware of events. Zachary’s friend, known as Barilko, saw to it that they would never be aware of what had happened. Barilko pressed open the door and fired two shots into the air. The room, filled with only civilians, cleared in a heartbeat.
“Sir, we do not have much time. The Right Hand has secured the nearby airbase and they await your arrival.” Barilko whispered.
“You’ve done well, friend.” Marx replied, picking up the canister rifle that lay at his feet.
Marx was a renowned terrorist. He falsely played into the Dominion game, only attempting to sabotage their rule and end their oppression. Marx, born with psionic abilities, gathered followers inside the Dominion. The members of this Brotherhood commend him as a prophet who will deliver them to safety.
An explosion rocked the room as 4 men entered. They wore armor which bore the insignia of a blue hand, which was known as The Left Hand of the Brotherhood. The red hand signified The Right Hand.
“Master, this way! The airbase is under assault and we are running low on time. Supplies are secure and we have hijacked enough SCV’s to function in our bases. Most of our men have already hijacked Dominion Wraith’s.”
Marx and his men sprinted towards the air control room which was filled with Dominion Goliath’s and troops. Marx cocked the canister rifle and fired 2 small bullets at the mechanical monsters. The machines froze in place. A massive Battlecruiser sat not even 100 feet away. Marx and his men sprinted while bullets fell like rain from the sky. Marx struck two marines and watched them fall. As Barilko and he finally set foot onto the Cruiser steps, more Dominion forces flooded in.
“Traitors to the Brotherhood!” Marx yelled just as the door began closing. “Your oppression and lies are of no avail! The Brotherhood of the Hand has seen the future, the fall of the Dominion! The-
Just as the door nearly closed, Marx was struck in the chest with a bullet and he fell. The door closed and the Cruiser lifted off. Marx’s blood covered the floor as nearly all the members on the ship circled around their prophet. Medics began patching the wound just as Marx’s eyes slipped into darkness.

"My heart is where my treasure lies. Oh yeah! My great reward is in your eyes, My every breath belongs to You! You are my treasure! YES! You ARE MY TREAAASUREEE!".
...
The silence of the Junior asteroid belt in the Koprulu border is interrupted by a modern Terran redneck and his small "360-sound-system" frigate. Normally, you couldn't hear anything at space, but when Johny Mohney is a around with his ship, even the asteroids dance.
*beep*
"MY HEART IS WHERE THE TREASURE LI- Eh? What's that?" *beep* "Computer, analyze the signal". *beep*. A bright green text appears on the main screen: "REPORT 906: FRIENDLY SIGNAL DETECTED. IDENTIFIED AS AN ALERT BEACON OF A JUGGERNAUT CLASS BATTLECRUISER, ID102, OF NOVA SQUADRON. REPORTED MISSING IN MAY 14TH, 2500SCT".
*beep*
Johny slowly steers his small ship into the asteroid field towards the beacon. As he moves through the small asteroids trying not to get damaged, something big shows up infront of him...
"What the he-?" A large Terran platform appears. "This is Mohney again, do we have any recordings of a platform in the Junior belt?". *beep* "Not that we know of..." *beep*. The ship slowly drifts above the platform. Johny manages to spot some Terran vehicle wrecks, and among them a Juggernaut class Battlecruiser. On its hull he spots a big blue metal plate with a familiar writing: "Kimera".

The events that had taken place ended, the conference room now empty fell into a quick silence, deep, deep below the labs of the terran dominion in a science vessel rested the young nemphis, sitting on a doctor like table his suit still intact, yet needles and bottles filled with large pills would disturbe most, two heavily armed marines stood outside the clear lab Re-inforced double doors and would mute there voices
" I don't see why we have to stand here and baby sit casper the friendly 'Ghost' while everyone else is fragging those brotherhood bleeding heart scumbags, my rifle is gettin thristy "
The other guard would then lower his visor and grant a shrug, his large rifle would lean against his shoulder as he spoke in a dry tone.
" Just be glad we aint on another 'Bug' hunt.."
A door would then open infront of the marines and a young looking scientist would pass through in lab uniform and a white coat, thick glasses favored short brown hair and made for an intelligent look, slowly making her way pass the guards the two double doors would open for her and quickly close behind her, moving her way to a computer screen filled with odd numbers and digits.
" You have been very Co-operative nemphis and Emperor mengsk is very proud of what you did today, as your reward i will load another history program into your Physch inhaler during your slumber..."
Nemphis's eyes never left the floor as if they were looking straight through it in deep thought or that his mind was searching somewhere else, his gloved fingers would tap gently the steel table below him and create a noise that he seemed to be doing without even so much as thinking of it...
" Nemphis ?....so quiet...tomorrow will be a grand day for you, we will collect real field date of what you can do for us...this galaxy...what happened today was nothing compared to what you have inside your body and you know that, the people of mengsk do not...that is why you must show them you mean only there protection.."
Nemphis continued to remain silent as if a single word had not gotten through to him, his eyes starting to close which would bring a deep scowl to the face of the scientist speaking to him, though before she could scold him in any way she would be caught by suprise as he spoke...
" i'm made from the genes of Sara kerrigan and many other great minds, i even have protoss in me, the blood of perfect soldiers...isn't that right miss Grice ? genes are what we pass on to our children..so on...and so on...doesn't that mean i have a mother somewhere then ?...if genes and a DNA strand are truly what make us exist then isn't it possible then i do have a mother ? "
The scientist just began to laugh as if she was told a very funny joke, her hand over her mouth and a plasma screen like clipboard at her waist as a smirk played across her features.
" And just who would your mother be in the endless strands of DNA that float through your body young nemphis ? "
A bright smile would take the boys face for what would seem like the first time, his answer only to bring chills to her very bones..
" Miss sarah kerrigan ? "
A harsh and hard slap would land across the boys face, although the impact hurt much and made him feel much pain he just tilted his head as if curious of her action, why would she strike him for a simple assumption ?
" 'Sara kerrigan' is a monster...and she will always be a monster, she is nor your mother, nor your friend nor an allie to any living creature in the universe, and if you met up with her you would find yourself consumed by filth and the worst pain you could most possibly comprehend !!!....and what makes matters worse is the fact she knows whom she is yet simply does not care, Sarah kerrigan is responsible for many more deaths then even in those world war II programs you enjoy so much...her heart filled with a burning hate and fury...what keeps her away is fear !!! fear that our Emperor mengsk will strike her down in righteousness !!! "
The female chanted as if she was some sort of drone, yet her anger did not faze him in anyway, his head would hang in silence as if waiting to be left alone in his 'world' it being the cage that was this glass box; beaten like an animal not to unleash his powers till the choke chain pulled tightly...with that the female left the room a scowl left over her features, Nemphis rocked himself back and forth now as his mind then began to wander..did it mean so much to him to exist that he would call himself the next clink in a chain to a monster ?...
" Why wont you call to me...are you afraid like they say ?.."

"The Big Bear" in Moria have been the largest trade center in the Terran territory since the guild-wars. Kerrgian's raid on Moria 3 years ago crippled the Morian ecocomy, but the Combine has risen again due to the support of "The Bear". Pirates, merceneries, treasure hunter from all the sector, came to "The Bear" in order to trade knowlegde, wreckages, technologey and more.
"We've recieved a report from a lousy so-called "treasure hunter" 2 days ago. Johny Mohny, you know this guy?".
"Mohny? Isn't he dead? I heard he had an unpleasent meeting with a Zerg force a year ago... He still works for us?"
"Yes, he surveys the border space. He says the Zerg barely visit there but nobody takes risks thee days. Anyway, check out this report. He tracked an alert beacon inside a small asteroid field. He found a Juggernaut class Battlecruiser crashed onto one of the asteroids, turns out, it's an old Nova Squadron cruiser which was reported missing during a battle with the Protoss. Eventaully, he found out that it's "The Kimera"".
"What?! You mean those crazy pirates who bugged Mengsk a year ago? Ha! They got what they deserved".
"Yep. Anyway, I've sent a salvager yesterday, it should be back here within a week if everything goes as planned. With all the data and tech they stole from the Dominion we should be well payed. Mengsk will be also happy to see old enemies dead."
"Well done Davidson, I'll report this and inform the Dominion officals".
"Oh, one last thing: Mohney claims there is one survivor".

The faint sound of a heart monitor awoke Zachary from his sleep. Greeted by a faint pain in his shoulder, he could say for sure he’d had better nights. One doctor, seated next to Barilko, stood and gazed at the monitor.
“Your vitals are stabilized, but the bullet was only a couple inches from your heart. You are all right, but we wish to keep you here for a little longer.” He said.
Marx grunted. This wasn’t the first time he had been hooked up to wires and tubes and had men staring at him, but that was a story that needed not be told. Marx whispered quietly.
“The ship, have we escaped?”
“Yes we have, sir.” Barilko said. “Casualties were a minimum and we have claimed more than enough ships and supplies to fend for ourselves.”
“Very well. Where will we be landing?” Marx asked.
“The planet Grissom IV. It is a planet which experiences constant electrical storms. These storms, while threatening to life, will serve as a blockade between ourselves and the Dominion. Their radio frequencies will never reach us.” Barilko said.
Marx smiled, although he knew in his head the truth. The Dominion wouldn’t use scanners to find them, but instead their Ghost infantry could since use a Galaxy away. Marx knew the power of the projects. Mengsk was already at work to create a super solider, with the blood and essence of all of the modern races. Marx didn’t know much about it, seeing that he abdicated from the foolish Dominion ploy around the time the project began. Marx had learned to harness his psionic powers, but his abilities in no way rivaled that kind of project.
Marc thought of the possibilities. If he bolstered his forces enough and spread his influence across the sector, the Brotherhood could take the weak Dominion head on. But even imagining the power of the project made his heart race. He had to have control of it. He had to come into contact with the boy and make him the right-hand man of the Brotherhood. A text message would never reach him, but there is a chance that Marx’s powers could.
Marx asked for the men in the room to depart. He closed his eyes, and focused on the black void of his mind.

Left alone in the cold and industrial installment, nemphis had placed his helmet on, standing after what was a few hours of gazing at a cold steel floor, spotted with blood stains, odd goop and syringes; reaching his hand out he collected one of them from the floor...the very second he did a thousand uses for it came to mind as if a rush of voices, he could have used it to free himself from the protective double doors and even puncture the small rubber neck piece around the terran marine uniform of the guards outfront killing them both silently, if he felt like it he could have caused the whole facility to meltdown and destroy it without a second thought, though why would he wish to escape ?
what was so great about this world if he did not belong in it; why would he act as if he was a person when truly he was a dominion slave, dispite the shell of a child nemphis held the mind of sages...tyrant like war tactics, political dominance, and the ability to achieve physical feats like nothing else alive...yet he would do none of which till he was told, need...the basic fact of being required...that is all that interested him in the dominion...
Human emotion to him was way harder to understand then any battle plan, he had already killed many enemys in his tests, mostly live test subjects not even thinking of the lifes he was taking; did he feel sad ? no...for sorrow was something none existant to him..the only thing he did feel was confused..confused on how these beings around him worked with all of there odd outbursts, laughter, anger, sorrow...if it did not cause bodily change then what difference did loss make ? just then a voice could be heard...though not in his ears or by vibration...this voice was calling to him from the very depths of his mind, and as this strangers connection became stronger the more amazing the childs head would become...there were status blockers in many zones that had probably been blocked out due to drug dosage to keep him free from attacks...though as hard as it may have been speech may have been possible...with a tilt of his head the boy would call...
~ You are not with my creator lord mengsk...i am afraid i can not identify your barcode or rank in our systems...please state your reason...~
Not a trace of violence as the voice would almost boom through the outlaws head, the static and power-pulse his mind produced would defenetly cause some discomfort; though nothing that would not be worth contact of resource...as human as his mind seemed there was no desire, no childish wants or curious thoughts besides wishing to know whom was contacting him...or how for that matter.

"Thow shall not kill.....thow shall not K...." Raynor threw himself over the trench head and put his rifle headlong at the oncoming enemy. A zergling with scales piercing all ways charged forward as Raynor let loose a fury of bullets that maimed the beast. He rolled again and let loose a burst to a following zergling and one more. He stood up as one got to close and butted it with his rifle crushing its scull inwards.
Raynor stood up with purple goo dripping from him and his rifle. "I never get used to this shit... Kerrigan....." Raynor took a deep breath and walked to a soldier plastid against the trench side. The soldier saluted in a hurry and asked, "Something you need commander Raynor?" Raynor simply wavered the offer with his hand saying nothing and moved on. The battle line hand run thin with only a few police soldiers left on this planet. Yet this was nothing compared to other planets.
The zergs twisted grip hand not reached this planet so heavy only but a few scout units. Raynor would have this mess cleaned up in no time he smirked and kept moving. But one thing never left his mind and that was that one can never stop to think anymore. He had been on this planet for years now and yet even here his nightmares caught him. The trap he had once evaded was set again right back where his was at the start with the same twisted beast at the reins.
Raynor would likely have to leave soon if this zerg problem got any worse for one look in that... things eyes would kill me. Raynor said to himself, "Sh....it will never get to know the taste of my blood until the very end. I will outlast and prevail over all laid before me I must for a good friend I once knew."
With a blast in the sky the night was illuminated and the zerg line was retreating in a scattered form. All marines around began cheered as men from beaten up out of date siege tanks emerged. This was a great victory indeed the zerg were no longer at the front outposts and were scattered into the wilderness.

Manic laid on a bed inside "The Bear", surrounded by medical equipment. He arrived 2 days ago with the salvager ship from the asteroid belt, after he was found fighting for his life inside the wreckages of his former ship and home for the last 3 years, "The Kimera". His eyes were closed, although he was in a constant REM status since his arrival, as some sort of a bad dream haunts him.
Through a window above him, a Dominion officer watched. He started to read a report from a printed papaer:
"Andrey Milovich, a former Nova Squadron officer and part of the Confederacy Ghost Program. Defected with Captain Buzan and his ship, The Kimera, after the chaos of the Tarsonis invasion, co-founded the infamous Kimeran Pirates and was given the alias of "Manic". Reported missing since May 14th, 2500, although he might have taken part in the raid on Korhal's Orbital Gen04C a year ago".
A "Bear" officer stood besides him. "Our doctors are working constantly inorder to awake him sir. Once he's in good condition I assume we can trasnfer him to Korhal.
"Although he might prove useful, we're more interested on the tech and data you found on the ship, or any other survivors, like maybe... Captain Buzan?"
"Well sir, we found no bodies on the ship besides a few dead lesser Zerg breeds, the storages were empty. It seems Johny Mohny wasn't the first to check out that ship."
"And what about the Data Discs?"
"Damaged, but recoverable. Although I've been told they are protected with something called, hmm... DIRSC34 protocol? They say it'll take time to decode them".
The Dominion officer looks with anger on the Combine officer: "You are reffering to DIRSC35P Confederacy encryption protocol. It's one of hardest-to-crack encryption ever developed by Humans. I'll take the discs and the pirate in their current state".
"Aaalllllright... And about the payment?"
"Don't worry, you'll get it. My transport is leaving within 30 minutes, I'd like you and your men to deliver my request. So long.
The Dominion officer turned around and exited the room and so did the Combine officer after him. The light in the room turned off. a frequent *beep* of life-support equipment could be heard. Manic opened his eyes.
