So the past poll was pretty clear; a majority of you want to see Stacraft II released; while only a couple want to see Cataclysm. Diablo III even pulled in some support! Check out the results:

<div style="border: 1px solid #333; background-color: #111; width: 350px; padding: 10px;">What Blizzard game are you looking forward to the most?

Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty: 67.24%
Diablo III: 17.24%
Unannounced MMO: 12.07%
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm: 3.45%

Total number of votes: 58</div>

Starcraft: Ghost?

So onto the new poll! If you've been paying attention at all you've probably seen the cool Starcraft II custom map videos that have been floating around. That being the case, do you think it's possible Blizzard will be "releasing" Starcraft: Ghost as a bonus (or even a premium) pack for SC2? Or are you still holding out for a console release?

I think they said it pretty much as it is in the video, a city or whatever to explore and pvp in (not the whole game), and the ability to make more cities etc, some of the code for graphics was probably originally from starcraft ghost, but what do i know

Nah, the sc:g stuff isn't going to be the same sc:2 stuff. if they do, it'll just be a bonus campaign.

In theory you'll be able to play sc:2 for like... 20 years before it gets boring.

I'd imagine we'll have billions of differnt types of games. This is going to be HUGE.

I can't even imagine what their pre-order status is going to be for this...

SC:G will never ever be released on a console. Trust me.

We are talking about in-game (SC2) bonus/premium content, which will be very likely.

SC:G will never ever be released on a console. Trust me.

As it should be.

I always thought it was rather peculiar that they would take a franchise that gained popularity on the PC and make it a console exclusive affair.

Its possible.

Blizzard probably could hand the development over to one of Activision's developers now that they're in a union if Blizzard doesn't feel like doing the actual work. Infinity Ward would be a good candidate for the game.

Ghost would've been great 5 years ago when it was supposed to come out.

Now, just another item of heartbreak in my life.

You can bet your arse the fanbase will have something out within one month of release.

Maybe, one has to wonder if its worth resurrecting every single project "just because".

Hmm, Ghost as a bonus/premium content for SC2 would make the most sense. However, if SC:Ghost itself was revived, it should be for PC first instead of console only.

Not putting out Ghost was a good call in the name of the franchise. Blizzard took a shot at outsourcing but apparently they realized the error in it before making a huge mistake. It's not that the studio involved was completely to blame. The staff you have on a project such as this has to be emotionally involved in the intellectual property.

If they decide to create a bonus campaign in sc2 with nova in it-- or even if they give nova a part in the main campaign of sc2. I am fine with that.

Just don't haunt us with the return of the original ghost as it would have been released for gamecube or xbox.

If your curious of what it would have been... just know it probably would have been a let down.

I want SC:G for consoles and/or PC, they could totally own the whole business..

The cool thing about the portal is that it seems to attract spammers, it's almost like a honeypot!

Interesting theory, zoniels09. Thank you for that. Gave me something to think about!
